The Genesee County Sheriff's Office keeps a database of all convicted sex offenders residing within Genesee County. There are three levels of risk assigned to convicted sex offenders:

Level 1: Low risk to the community.
Level 2: Moderate risk to the community.
Level 3: High risk to the community.

As a general rule, the sentencing court determines the risk assessment at the time of sentencing, or when the defender is released from jail. The Alexander School District is within its rights to disseminate this information to our community as we see fit.
